Prices

Omlet/Green Frog

These coops will accommodate up to 3 birds. With an extended 3m run they provide a perfect base for the hens holidays!

 

£10.00 per day inclusive

Omlet Cube/Green Frog (Large)

These coops will accommodate up to 6 birds. With an extended 3m run they provide a perfect base for the hens holidays!

 

£12.50 per day inclusive

Larger Flocks

Contact us for larger flocks and we can see what we can arrange for you. Often they can be split into multiple pens and kept adjacent to each other in our boarding field.

Further Information

Price Includes

  • Fully sanitised coop on arrival - sanitised with Vet strength disinfectant.

  • On arrival all birds will be treated for Lice and Mites. (compulsory)

  • All feed / Grit / Corn / Water & Bedding will be provided.

  • MVF Layers & MVF Mixed Corn

  • Birds will be cleaned out at least twice a week.

  • They will be locked away each evening and let out in the morning.

  • Shade will be provided as required.

  • Classic & Cube Coops will be moved onto fresh grass every other day.

Surcharges

  • Christmas / New Year Period - Surcharge of £15 per booking

  • WORMING : £2 per bird - optional extra (Should you be leaving the birds with us less than 7 days then we will give you the remaining treated feed to take home to continue the course at home.)

  • Arrival Day and Collection Day are chargeable.

  • Minimum of 5 days charge

  • Christmas / School holidays - minimum of 7 days charge.

  • A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to confirm booking this should be paid within 48 hrs of booking request.

 

PAYMENT IN FULL IS REQUIRED WHEN BIRDS ARE BROUGHT INTO BOARDING.

 

Please be aware when booking to give us the dates that you need the birds to arrive and collect - This may not be your actual holiday dates - you may want to drop off the day before you travel and collect the day after?

Terms & Conditions

Poultry & Small Animals

Please be aware that the best place for your animals whilst you are away is actually at home in their own environment. This keeps stress levels to a minimum. However this is not always possible so we therefore offer this service for you. We will always do our best to look after your birds and to minimise risk of problems we will be following these procedures....
On arrival all birds will be checked for obvious signs of disease. We reserve the right to refuse acceptance of any animals if we feel that they are carrying a contagious disease or are unfit.
All birds will be treated for lice and mites on arrival. This is not a reflection of how we feel you care for your birds but a safeguard for all birds involved in the boarding process.
Birds will not be let out to free range whilst in our care. They will be let into their run each day but we cannot take the risk of birds disappearing whilst you are away and we need to keep them within their pens.
All animals will be cared for as though they are our own. We CANNOT however be held responsible for any loss or damage to animals whilst in our care. We will however look after them to the best of our ability. Whilst in our care if we feel it is necessary to take any animal to the vet then we will do so at your expense. If you wish us not to do this we will endeavor to keep the animal comfortable until your return, we will not however see any animal suffer and will contact you to ask permission if we feel a bird needs to be put to sleep.
A deposit of 25% is required at time of booking to reserve the pen. On arrival we require payment in full for the duration of stay. There are no exceptions to this rule as it is designed to prevent customers abandoning their animals.
All animals must be collected on date agreed as the coop may be booked for the next boarders. If this is not possible (flight / travel delays) please contact us as soon as is possible.
At the end of the duration of booking if animals are not collected we will keep them safe for you but cannot guarantee that they will be in the boarding area - they may need to be moved to an alternative temporary accomodation (dog pen or similar).  We reserve the right to charge a premium on late collections (maximum of  £4.00 per animal per day.) If we have not heard from you within 7 days of expected collection we will presume that the animals are not wanted and they will be rehomed.

Illness

If we need to take your birds or animals to the vet whilst they are here - the cost of the vet treatment will be passed straight on to yourself. We will try to contact you before taking your pet(s) for treatment. Treatment cost will be limited to £75 if I can't contact you for authorisation beforehand. There will be a charge for us to take your birds or animals to the vets - this is a minimum amount purely for our time and fuel costs of £20 per visit.

Cancellation

  • A deposit of 25% is required to confirm the booking - this is a non refundable deposit.


Cancellations / alterations to the booking?


The following charges will apply:

6 weeks or more before start of boarding - no additional charge (25% deposit forfeited)

2 to 6  weeks before start of boarding -Cancellations / amendments at 40% of full charge.

Less that 2 weeks before start of boarding Cancellations / Amendments at 50% of full charge.

Shortened stays (ie booked 2 weeks only require 1 week - the cancelled days will be charged inline with the above rates)

Less birds (ie booked in 6 birds and only 2 now coming) again the above charges will be incurred.

We are sorry to have to impose these charges but unfortunately people have booked into the boarding 'just in case' and then not needed the boarding facilities letting us know only a few days before their booking - obviously we have turned people away from boarding when they could have been accommodated.

Booking of birds into boarding is with agreement to the above policy.
